Panagbenga

My family and I attended the Panagbenga Festival in Baguio last weekend.  It is our first time to attend that, it's my baby's first time to go to Baguio, and it's my own family's first time to go on a long trip without my extended family.

Since it was a spur-of-the-moment thing and my hubby and kid only followed since I was already there earlier, I texted him and reminded him of the things to bring with him when they travel.

Here's part of my list:
For bebe:
1. clothes for bebe (3 pairs and 3 extra)
2. 3 pairs of socks, undies, insect repellant, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste
3. jacket
4. dedepots (his milk bottle and of course, his Lactum!)
5. snacks for the 8-hour trip
6. 1 book, 1 toy robot
7. hat
8. sunblock
9. water (for bebe's dedepots)

He brought only 3 pairs of clothes, 2 socks, nos. 3, 4, 5 and 9.  My baby had no slippers when they got there. When asked why he didn't bring slippers, he blamed me for not including it in his list. So there, it's all my fault.

But despite what "I forgot to list down so he forgot to bring", we all enjoyed the festival.  It's my baby's first time to go to Baguio and I saw in his eyes that he enjoyed our simple (and very thrifty) trip.

Browsing through these pictures, I can't help but realize that no matter how many material possessions one may forget, it is all up to us to have a good time.  With my family with me, who cares about the lack of change of clothes?
